The downloads for this don't work....they download correctly, but when unpacking the rar files there's nothing in there except a link and files relating to http://www.forumw.org/.

I think there should be a Part 8 download....found other links online for this movie and all of them have 8 parts.

ReplyDeleteOh heck, I'll have to try downloading it again (I hate to waste my downloading allotment from RS like this) just to see if there was somehow some missing data during the download, but what I have now SEEMS to be complete as far as the filesizes of each part, but unpacking them only gives me a folder with no video file in it.

All files CAN'T be working fine....You're not listening to me. I said I downloaded all 7 files again, double-clicked on the first one (Part1), got that same sbalga[1] folder, and there's only THREE files in there: Latest_Downloads.html, Password=www.forumw.org (which has NO file entension), and Read_Me.txt. THAT IS IT....the entire folder and the contents are only 310kb. SOMETHING is WRONG here. I've tried this SEVERAL times and it DOES NOT WORK.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the last two links, for part 6 and 7, and not direct download links but instead take you to some kind of link protection page from which you get the download links. I think that may be where the problem is.
Just tried again and even though the rar extraction SAYS there's a Shark.Boy.Lava.Girl.avi file, NONE shows up in that folder or ANYWHERE.
ReplyDeleteChecked the log file in ExtractNow, which I use for RAR files, and it SAYS that it supposedly extracted the AVI file, but it's NOT in there.....so where is it??

ReplyDeleteOkay, I got it now (a slight apology)....Apparently, for whatever reason (and this is the first time it's happened with this program), ExtractNow wasn't extracting the AVI file. I downloaded WinRar for the trial period, and WinRar successfully got the movie file out of the rar downloads.
ReplyDeleteStill.....this is NOT the 3D version. The posts title and information in the post should be changed so that people will know they're NOT getting the 3D version. It's misleading as it is.

ReplyDeleteNo, this is NOT the 3D version (and for the record, I already tried the 3D glasses...I have a collection of them). The DVD was released containing both the 2D AND the 3D versions of the movie, which was done in the format which needs those glasses with the red and blue lenses. This is most definitely NOT the 3D version.
